Flexible and helpful for buyers

As a buyer in the current climate in Cambridge, you don't expect estate agents to be overly helpful, but this isn't the case with Tylers. We received quick and courteous responses to all questions and requests to the seller, and they were flexible to arrange property access at short notice for further viewings. They kept in regular contact throughout the whole process, putting us as first time buyers at ease. Highly recommended

Fantastic Service with long distance purchase

Stefan Bjork and the staff at Tylers have been incredibly helpful. I am relocating to Cambridge from Glasgow and therefore this proved to be tricky given the distances involved. Stefan went above and beyond to fit us in for viewings and also with the large number of surveyors and tradesman that I required pre-purchase. Nothing was ever too much trouble and things could easily be arranged by email. The latter point is particularly important as I was often emailing in between other tasks at work. I look forward to using Tylers again in the future.

Very Professional and efficient

Neil at Tylers Histon was our point of contact for the purchase of our property which has now completed. The process was smooth and when we required additional visits with trades persons in advance of the purchase they were happy to facilitate this. Having not used them as a selling agent I could not comment on this aspect, but based on them handling our purchase they were faultless.

Great customer service, integrity and professionalism.

It is difficult to find a way to articulate the quality of service I received from Tylers. Every interaction was polite, succinct and committed to serving me as fully as possible. The sale process wasn't easy and there were a number of complications, but none of it was the responsibility of Tylers who steered me elegantly through the process. First class!

Exceptional customer service - can't recommend highly enough!

I put my flat on the market this time last year and am so pleased that I chose Tylers to help me through this. From the initial valuation right through to completion, Andrew was unfailingly patient, polite, efficient and professional. Despite several delays in the process (nothing to do with Tyler's!) Andrew remained enthusiastic and helpful at every stage, often going above and beyond to reassure me that things were still on track. Tylers charged very reasonable rates for what turned out to be exceptional service - I can't recommend highly enough!

I have nothing but praise for Andrew at Tylers. Friendly, efficient, patient, reassuring and reliable are just five words I would use to describe him. I have dealt with a lot of Estate Agents over the years but Andrew and all the people at Tylers have been the most professional and helpful. team I have met.. People often say they are going to call you back or email and then don't. . Not so Andrew. When he said he was going to do something he did it. He never ignored phone calls and always followed up any issues straight away. I would not hesitate to recommend him. A top class person with a top class team.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

We had a problem with our house that we're renting with Tylers. But Tylers didn't disappointed us. Eva helped us every step of the way, from finding us accommodation during the renovation near to our workplace to checking us if we have settled well during our stay. We also had a problem with our washing machine several months ago and they sent us someone to fix it free of charge :). They made us feel secured with the house that we're renting with them, will obviously renew our contract ;)

Quietly got on with it.. Helpful

We achieved close to the asking price which was better than i had expected. They provided help beyond that anticipated - eg finding someone to mend minor roof storm damage. As I was mostly living 400 miles away, this was very valuable.

Service provided when purchasing a house through Tylers

Neil and the team at Tylers were incredibly helpful at all points in the purchase procedure. Having not bought a house for a long time it could have been daunting, but Neil and the team made the whole process easy to navigate and hassle free. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They always returned calls promptly and were friendly and professional in their approach. I felt that as a team, they had a great depth of experience. I would highly recommend them.

First class customer service and professionalism

I was selling my Cambridgeshire house while living over 100 miles away and as such it was important to find a reliable and responsive estate agent who I could trust. Tylers have gone above and beyond my expectations; as a remote seller I valued their regular communication with me and felt that nothing was too much trouble for them. Friendly, professional service with excellent communication

Neal at the Histon branch handled our house sale in Bar Hill. We opted for Tylers as we were impressed by his approach when we met him. He came across as friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Follow up was good too. As we were based in Sheffield, we needed to rely on Tylers to communicate clearly and regularly and we could not have had a better service. The results of initial viewings and offers were relayed well and we were able to make an informed decision on which offer to accept. The sale went through in time for the purchaser not to be caught by changes to stamp duty- and Neal kept us in the loop very well in the days leading up to completion. We would thoroughly recommend Tylers.

I couldn't have been happier with Tyler's.

As a buyer, I couldn't have been happier with Tyler's.. They were always friendly, contactable, answered questions fully and honestly and passed on any queries they couldn't answer quickly to the seller. Most importantly for us, Stefan and Juan made themselves available not only for multiple viewings, but to open the property and patiently wait around for several appointments with contractors for quotes for post-sale work, since we were pressed for time during the conveyancing process and needed access. Great agents.

Selling Our Home

Neal was our contact from Tylers, in a nutshell he was always quick at getting back to us, polite and knowledgeable and gave us lots of extra advice beyond the standard sevice an estate agent would normally offer. We would recomend this branch of Tylers over other companies we have come cross.

Absolutely superb!! I can't speak highly enough of Neal and his team at Tylers.

Neal and his team at Tylers put a huge amount of effort into selling my flat. I have moved a number of times, and have never experienced this high level of committment to communication with the customer and solicitors.. Tylers recommended me to a solicitor who was also excellent, super efficient and good value for money. Whenever you want to speak to your agent, they make themselves available or call back very quickly. You are made to feel you are their only client and the most important. If I ever had to buy or sell a property again, I would have no anxieties as long as Tylers were able to handle the process.

Cannot recomend them highly enough!!

Before finding my home with Tylers I had many negative encounters with different letting agents, I therefore cannot reccomend Tylers highly enough, I have been renting through them for over four years and mostly dealt with Eva and Bronte who are just lovely. Not only are they very friendly and approachable they are very on the ball and efficient. From day one I have felt like a valued tenant and that's hard to come by nowadays

Performance of Alistair Brown at Tylers

I have been dealing with Alistair Brown at Tylers for seven or eight years now. He has assisted me in the sale of three properties and furthermore has advised with considerable wisdom and insight on the purchase of several others. Alistair has always been, without exception, highly professional and ruthlessly efficient yet subtly diplomatic. I am never left wondering what is happening at any given stage and I always feel that he goes above and beyond what could reasonably be expected of an estate agent to make sure that the best possible outcome is achieved. Perhaps most importantly he is a thoroughly decent guy and I enjoy our conversations enormously and actually look forward to dealing with him which I think speaks volumes when one considers how buying or selling a house can be quite a stressful process. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Tylers in general, as I have of course interacted with his colleagues at one time or another as well, to anybody.

Efficient, down-to-earth and perfect in documentation

Of the agencies I have dealt with for over 10 years of renting, it is in interacting with Tylers that I have felt most, well, a person rather than a function of my money and needs. And it is refreshing in a line of work where there can be so much of a salespeople mentality. My experience of viewing the property was that they give you space to see and feel for yourself while also being actively present to assist you (and so often you are either flooded with words of how good a choice a particular place is or have too quiet a shadow following you around). I have also found Tylers very efficient in processing documentation and queries. Although a key person may take overall responsibility for your property, the team members seems to work closely together and things are managed quickly and efficiently. Everybody I have spoken to/ written with, and this is at least 5-6 people, has been very friendly and competent to handle a query. I was also quite impressed with their documentation, such as the inventory you receive at entry. There were aspects of the flat I would never have noticed if I didn't have to check through it. They are also very prompt at acknowledging receipt of payments in writing. They are not always perfect - I've had some occasions of relevant information not being communicated and delays with requests for work being done, but I guess I have noticed them only because the overall standard of communication and efficiency is really high. Can recommend Tylers whole-heartedly. If I need to change my place, I am quite likely to ask them for help rather than go on a federated website, and this would be quite out of character for somebody who likes to research her options by herself.

From start to finish I felt that I was their number on priority and all queries / issues were dealt with in a timely manner. I have used Tylers to manage properties for me over the last 6 years whilst working overseas. I primarily interact with Eva and Ryan and the service I get is excellent.. They are very reliable and communicative. A big help when you are often 8000 miles away!

Excellent Communication

When you're selling your house - or trying to - there's nothing worse than bad communication. Late in the process of selling mine, things threatened to get complicated.further along the chain. Alistair was brilliant at keeping me in touch with what was going on, and creative in finding a solution to something which looked like it might be a problem. When you first select an estate agent it's easy to forget that one of the most important things is to find someone who will be reassuring if things get stressful. Alistair was great at that.

Best letting experience in Cambridge

After viewing 18 other properties from numerous other letting agencies in Cambridge and having a very nasty experience with another agency (Vincent Shaw), I found a home through Tyler's. The agents I worked with were all very informative, courteous, and friendly. It was such a contrast from the other agencies I dealt with. I can't say enough positive things about what a pleasant and smooth transaction letting a house from Tyler's was and highly recommend this company, and in particular, Ryan, the agent I worked with.

Excellent agent

I really appreciated it that Ellis didn't try to 'sell' me the property but just left it for me to see and make up my own mind. He didn't bombard me with information I can see for myself; I suppose he understands that when a person sees a property they have enough information to process without any 'distraction' from an agent. He tried to answer my questions but didn't pretend to knowledge he didn't have. And since the sale was agreed he conducted the rest of the sale calmly and professionally. Worked hard on my behalf

I bought a flat through this agent, who I did not know at all previously. They were unfailingly helpful and guided me through the process, recommending a lawyer who was equally thorough. When the vendors were pushing for completion they kept me in touch and returned all my calls promptly. I have subsequently let the flat through them until going to live in it myself. They advised on the price and hired in the necessary white goods on my behalf. I am happy to recommend the firm unreservedly from this recent experience

Sale of property

Tylers in Willingham were the vendors agent for my first home purchase in July 2015. GOING THE EXTRA MILE

I found Tylers to be excellent in the sale of my Cambridge property. I had an issue with the conveyancing solicitors and they personally tried to sort it out, as I am based in South Africa. When we couldn't resolve their issues, Tylers, and in particular, Andrew Jackman, dealt with the new solicitors quickly and efficiently. The entire sale went through efficiently and I cannot fault them. I can definitely recommend them to do an excellent job.
